Ronald Perlman, President
Mr. Perlman graduated from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1980. He subsequently practiced law with the firm of Cox, Castle and Nicholson in Newport Beach and Los Angeles as a real estate transactional attorney. In 1985 Mr. Perlman left the practice of law and began developing real estate with Barclay Associates, Inc. Mr. Perlman joined the company as a partner and eventually became President. During his tenure at Barclay Associates, Inc. the firm developed numerous large scale projects in California including The Village of Heritage, a 1,300 acre planned community in Fontana, Ca.
Mr. Perlman is the founder and President of Monro Capital. The company, Mr. Perlman, and affiliated partnerships have acquired, built and/or refurbished approximately 800,000 square feet of commercial, industrial, and mixed use buildings, as well as the construction of custom homes. Mr. Perlman has served on community service and public boards, including his tenure as a director of First National Bank, which until the bank was sold, was San Diego’s largest local bank.
Mitchell Perlman, Vice President
Mitchell Perlman is a graduate of the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, where he studied, among other things, Finance and Accounting. Mr. Perlman also has a background in International Business and Economics, completing coursework at Copenhagen Business School and Oxford University. Following his education, Mr. Perlman became a derivatives trader in Chicago, working at Consolidated Trading. While at Consolidated, Mr. Perlman managed several portfolios and lead the VIX Team electronic trading division.
Mr. Perlman is the Vice President of Monro Capital and the son of founder, Ron Perlman. Mr. Perlman is responsible for business development, acquisitions, operations and finances at Monro Capital. Mr. Perlman joined Monro Capital, Inc. in 2013 and he is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of California.
Norma Salazar, Property and Asset Manager
Norma Salazar has over 20 years of experience in real estate property management. Norma Salazar's experience includes managing office, retail, industrial, medical, data centers, HOA’s and residential properties. Prior to joining Monro Capital Ms. Salazar managed 11 HOA’s consisting of 1,200 units in San Diego County. She also managed commercial portfolios in California, Nevada and Arizona of up to 4 million square feet for Panattoni Development Company and was assigned to manage the first post 9/11 newly constructed federal building, offering state of the art security features in California. Her responsibilities also included managing the internal maintenance department for Sacramento and submarkets such as Napa, Fairfield, Roseville, Folsom and Woodland. Ms. Salazar also managed up to 2 million square feet for Bank of America, which included a high security data center and central cash vault facility. Her broad experience includes leasing activity, tenant improvement projects, tenant relations, contract negotiations and coordination with development projects.
